Turn chaos into clarity and disruption into insight.

5-WEEK VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Now What? How to Navigate Major Life Transitions Without a Map

Over five weeks, we'll work through a process of reflection, connection, and intentional action to help you reframe your transition as a powerful (if not always comfortable) teacher. You will learn to:

• Identify and honor that which is ending, and make space for the new growth.

• Select symbols and metaphors -- the language of the unconscious -- that represent key elements of your transition

• Develop practices that support resilience and deeper insights.

Participants will leave with a roadmap for moving through this (and other) transitions with greater clarity, purpose, and intention.

Tuesdays September 15-October 13, 2026

5:30-6:30p Pacific

DAY-LONG IN-PERSON RETREAT

The Space Between: A Creative Retreat for Finding Your Way Foward

This daylong gathering in a beautiful private home on the Bolinas lagoon offers a nourishing and restorative space to explore the transitions unfolding in our own lives and the many uncertainties that are upending the world around us.

Using the Center for Ritual Design’s Liminality Map as our guide, the experience is informed by the work of Dacher Keltner, adrienne maree brown, Sherri Mitchell, Bruce Feiler, and Michael Meade.  Through guided reflection, conversation, art-making, somatic practice, and time in nature, we’ll bring together insights from neuroscience, positive psychology, nature-based practices, and human-centered design with the archetypal structure of ritual.

Participants will be invited to explore what is ending, release what no longer serves, build a ballast for the uncertainty of the in-between, and move with intention toward the future they want to create.

No artistic experience is needed—only curiosity and a willingness to engage. You’ll leave with a new language and perspective for understanding your transition as a portal for growth and transformation.

Betty Ray is a wise, passionate and compassionate guide on using the alchemy of ritual to transform something confusing and painful into something poignant and sacred. The 5-week Transitions workshop helped me design a very personal experience and therefore, a new context around the 2 recent deaths of loved ones in my life.  I now have something I can refer to that I created for myself that has depth and beauty around the significance of these losses.
